Academic:

I'm a masters (coterminal) student in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University; my undergraduate advisor was Andrew Ng. My research interests are in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and bioinformatics, and I'm actively working in Daphne Koller's research group, DAGS.

I'm currently on a leave of absence and working as a Software Engineer at Google.

Personal:

I was born in Jerusalem, Israel, but I moved (with my immediate family) to the United States when I was very young. My dad, Yoel Sadovsky, is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cell Biology and Physiology at Washington University in St. Louis, and my mom, Elena Sadovsky, works as a research assistant in his lab. My hobbies include photography, alto saxophone (I played in the Stanford Wind Ensemble), soccer, skiing, and hiking.
