DEADLINES and AUTOMATIC EXTENSIONS
Many homework assignments are due at midnight (written as 11:59 pm for clarity).  At present, however, I find that I work more in the early morning than late at night.  I am therefore granting everyone an automatic extension of 7 hours and 1 minute for all "due at 11:59 pm" assignments.  The true drop-dead deadline is therefore 7:00 am the next morning. Submissions sent after 7:00:00 am (based on the time indicated in the header of the message in my inbox), however, will be rejected.  Late work is never accepted in this seminar. The extension should help those of you who procrastinate and/or who work best very late at night or very early in the morning. I urge you, however, to think of the deadline as midnight, and to try to meet it.
