Hooking Load-Balance Names into the DNS
The main name server delegates a load-balancing domain to the load-balanced name server.
Load-balanced names are created as aliases to names in the load-balancing domain. For example, www.stanford.edu is an alias for www.lb.stanford.edu.
The load-balancing name server knows that www is really served by www1, www2, and www3.
