Notice: Stanford::DNSserver is not EDNS compliant and there are no plans to bring it into compliance. Much easier to use a well-maintained, flexible DNS server instead. Stanford has switched to PowerDNS as the DNS server for its load balancing name service.

Stanford::DNSserver is a DNS name server framework. It allows you to make any information accessible with perl available via DNS. To put it another way, it's a name server with a perl back end.
