Curriculum Vitae

I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from Stanford University in September, 2007, and I start work at Oklahoma State University fall semester, 2008.

My primary research interests are in the areas of philosophy of biology, philosophy of science, and history of philosophy of science.  In particular, I like thinking about the interrelated topics of the methodology of population biology; the role of models in science; the nature of scientific explanation; the unity of science; and the history of logical empiricism, especially the work of Otto Neurath.
