The European Center for Digital Resources in Chinese Studies (ChinaResource.org ) at the Institute of Chinese Studies, University of Heidelberg, offers "on-site, and where ever possible via the Internet, access to the broadest possible array of China-related digital resources. . . . Apart from copyright-protected items, the resources are accessible worldwide. Local research assistants can be hired to handle searches only possible locally."
