PhD student in Electrical Engineering, Stanford University
PhD Candidate, Stanford, Electrical Engineering
-Algorithm design and software implementation of a real-time acquisition and display station for a gamma ray hand-held camera.
-Design and implementation of GPU-accelerated algorithms for iterative PET image reconstruction.
- Automated cells tracking : Working in a team of three students, I developed a software which automatically detects and tracks cells on a video, and then provides position and speed information for each of them, allowing data analysis. [project website] [report]
- Hash codes for motion estimation in distributed video compression. [project report]
This research internship involved satellite images processing. Working
in collaboration with Chinese and French researchers, I coded an algorithm
(using OpenCV) able to recognize and extract buildings shape and position
from the satellite image of a city.

Consulting mission for a company which manages an online marketplace
for road freight in the UK. I collected and then processed data concerning
the transport of goods in the United Kingdom. I also wrote slides for
the final presentation to the customer.
Marketing for British phone operator Talk (launch of a promotional operation
in shopping centers).
2D Industrial drawing under Catia.
I developed a manufacturing management software interfacing with Control:Open.
A one year team project (5 students) aiming at launching the first job-search
website in Serbia. My responsabilities were :
- To lead the project
- To develop the job / companies / resumes databases and the functions
that will access those infrmations.
Technical assistance to the students using the school Unix stations.
Implementation and design of an online booking website which enables students to buy their theatre tickets at a discount price. (PHP / MySQL).
A one year project during which I worked on images compression (Jpeg, Wavelets decomposition of images, Fractal decomposition and compression of images.)
I presented this project during an oral presentation which was part of the competitive entrance examination to French top engineering schools. I was awarded the grade of 19.5/20 for my work. The results of my benchmark are here (fr).
