Hi, and welcome to my web site. I am a second year graduate student at Stanford University, where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Materials Science. My research advisor at Stanford is Dr. James S. Harris. I graduated from Penn State in May 2003 with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. My degree option during my undergraduate studies was Electronic and Photonic Materials. I am always looking for fellowship or internship opportunities, so feel free to peruse my resume and CV (once it's up). My research interests include optoelectronics, characterization techniques, and nanoscale electronics. I have research experience in a variety of fields, including wafer bonding, microelectronics processing, several characterization techniques, and - of course - molecular beam epitaxy. This web site contains my resume, samples of my undergraduate work, information about me, and links to sites of possible interest. Comments and inquiries can be directed to pickett@stanford.edu. |
