Note: Henry Baughman (b. 1759) is said to be the brother of George Baughman (b. 1756), the ancestor of O847. However since the y-chromosomes of F48365 and O847 do not match, there has probably been a breakage in the chain of y-chromosomes, such as an adoption. Most likely the break would have occurred in this line, as O847 does match the other Richterswil-origin Bachmanns. But since a descendant of Isaiah senior's brother Henry junior (F43333) matches F48365, we know that the break must have occurred with Henry senior born 1759. The Bible records also suggest a clear chain back to Henry born 1759, so it appears that Henry (1759) is not really the biological full brother of George (1756). This would tend to contradict the Northampton Co. baptismal records (which list both Henry and George as children of Henry and Elizabeth) and George's revolutionary war pension application (which states that his Bible records were in possession of his brother Henry in Canton [Stark Co.]). See http://www.stanford.edu/~philr/Bachman/HenryBachmanY.html for a more detailed discussion of the mystery.
