As a performer of the double bass and bass guitar I have been fortunate to collaborate with very talented, like minded people to promote live music in a variety of contexts. Music is a wondrous thing; like all creative endeavors it works on many levels. It can provide entertainment and escapism from life's stresses, this alone is a great value. Even more, music can uplift the heart and soul, refresh and renew. Music can reflect intellectual depth and emotional honesty, nobility and passion, the whole range of the human experience. My deliberate choice is to work with the positive range of musical values.
