Background

I grew up in Moscow, Russia. I studied applied math in Moscow State University, got a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, specializing in computer architecture, and a Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University. In my Ph.D. thesis, I studied the issues of ontology design for experimental sciences and use of ontologies in knowledge-based information retrieval. I now work at Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research (BMIR) in the Protégé group.

Is it Natalya or Natasha?
