Minh Xuân Nguyễn is a Vietnamese-American undergraduate student at Stanford University, pursuing a BS in Computer Science. He hails from Loveland, Ohio, United States. To his knowledge, he is not directly related to any other individuals named Minh Nguyễn. Minh currently resides at Twain House and is an occasionally active member of the Stanford Quiz Bowl and SVSA. In his spare time, Minh likes to write useful programs in Python and Objective C, carry out his responsibilities as an administrator at the Vietnamese Wikipedia, and get eight hours of sleep. (That last activity usually gets short shrift.) This website is devoted to Minh’s more academic side; you can find out much more about him at his weblog. In due time, this website will contain something of worth, but for now, you have only to bask in the glory of black, serif text on a slightly gray background.

Name

[ŋùīʔń̩ swə̄n̚ mīŋ̚]

So you’ve seen Minh’s full name, Nguyễn Xuân Minh, and you’ve probably asked yourself “$(*$@#(%*$@#*????!!!?” – because you enjoy rattling off the names of punctuation marks. For your amusement, he’s written out his full name in the International Phonetic Alphabet (right). Still confused? So is he.

To see this IPA transcription correctly, you may need to install an adequate font such as Gentium. You can also listen to Minh pronounce his full name in a 1.5-second MP3 file.

You can find out more about Minh by checking out his other Web properties, some of which are updated far more frequently than this sorry place:
