About me

I am a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University working with Prof. Heinz Pitsch. Until July 2008, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Turbulence Research, Stanford University.

I pursued my doctoral studies in the Multiphase Flow Computations Group, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University (ISU), Ames, IA under the guidance of Prof. S. Subramaniam. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in August 2007, after which I worked as a post-doctoral scholar in the same group until September 2007.

I also had a stint of around 4 years in the engineering consulting services sector and around a year in the automotive sector before beginning my doctoral studies at ISU.

In addition to a Ph.D., I hold a Bachelors of Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), India.
