About Me ...

This page is a bit outdated. But I kind of like it, so I am leaving it as is. A few updates though: I got my PhD in 2008. I am a research associate at the department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford. From January 2010 I will be starting a full time position as an assistant proffessor at the EECS department, UC Berkeley.

Born in Israel in 1974, and been a proud Israeli ever since.

I got my Bsc. in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the Technion IIT in 2001. I spent most of my time in the Signal & Image Processing Lab, which proved worthwhile, as I (with Yuval my partner and Shay our adviser) won the international competition - TI's DSP and Analog Challenge and got 100,000$ for it .

I got a MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2004.

Currently, I'm a Phd. student in the EE department, Stanford University. I am part of the Magnetic Resonance Systems Research Lab(MRSRL) and working with Prof. John Pauly. My research interests are: linear and non-linear optimization, signal detection, signal separation, inverse problems MRI iterative image reconstruction, super field-of-view methods in MRI, Steady State imaging in MRI, functional MRI

I am a mountain person, just love those hills. Especially if they have some snow on them. Volcanos are even better, and if they are active and have some snow it is the BEST!

I'm currently having a relationship with the High Sierra Mountains, but nevertheless, New-Zealand will always have a special place in my heart and especially Arthur's Pass.
