The Motley Fool

The Motley Fool is another site about investing and money management. Their site is very different from mine in that I offer mostly factual data, whereas they offer many opinions and editorials on the best ways to spend money and invest. Their site is less data-oriented like Yahoo! Finance, and more news oriented, with a healthy selection of articles to complement my own articles.

For example, one of their articles is about choosing a broker. I would likely not be able to cover this information as adequately because I have not gotten a human broker. Instead, in the past I have used online brokerages like ETrade and Fidelity Investments, so I would not know too much about actually hiring a broker. They are a very valuable resource for investors.

Reuters

Reuters provides a great deal of financial news on different markets. They are very oriented towards facts, although they have less technical data compared to sites like MorningStar and Yahoo! Finance. The front page of the site is very organized and professional-looking.

The information on this site, although somewhat sparse, is very well organized and labeled. It is also color coded so that the reader's attention is drawn to the most important parts. In my site, I want to make sure to watch the details very carefully so that I can make my site easy to read and accessible.
