The next valley over from the Lauterbrunnen Valley contains the valley resort of Grindelwald. From Grindelwald, you can take lifts high up to First, on the mountain ridge across the valley from the massif with the Eiger, Jungfrau, and Wetterhorn. From there, there are hiking trails (even in winter) winding through the mountains with great views across the valley. This particular peak is the Wetterhorn.
