Western Europe

Switzerland #1

"The Supervillain's Hideout", Jungfraujoch, Switzerland

Doesn't this look like a supervillain's hideout from a James Bond movie? (Complete with dome for the super-microwave beam to control the orbital mind control lasers. :-) )
Actually, it's the famous Jungfraujoch, also known as "The Top of Europe", a mountaintop icefield (elevation above 11,000 feet) which tourists get to by riding a cog train that winds its way up through a several-mile-long tunnel burrowed through the mountains Eiger & Monch. Amazingly cool. There's also a 400-foot-long elevator that goes up through the middle of that lump of rock on the right from the train station to the dome.
