"Pieces of Constantine": Palazzo dei Conservatori Museum, Rome

In one of the many fine museums of old things in Rome are pieces of the ancient much-bigger-than-life-size (40 ft tall) statue of the Emperor Constantine ("Constantine the Great", ruled 306-337 AD). They look rather sad now. The old guy's eyes are still aimed upward towards heaven, no doubt trying to rise above his current dingy surroundings.
