The Parry Kauri Park, near Warkworth, has some giant kauri trees. It also has plenty of tree ferns and other wonderful green jungly stuff, as you can see in this picture. If you love forests, this is the part of New Zealand to see. (Quite uncrowded, too, even by New Zealand standards.)
