Near the end of the road beyond Waimea Canyon are a couple of viewpoints over the Kalalau Vallay. The only ways into this valley are by long hiking trail or by boat, but you get a gorgeous view down the cliff into it from the road above. The morning I took this photo, it was fogged in, with nothing visible. Later in the day we went back, and were lucky enough to see a rainbow in the light mist over the valley.
