Near-IR Photo of Reinefjord, Lofoten Islands

There is a trick you can do with some digital cameras to capture the scene in near-IR (near-infrared) light wavelengths, which are just beyond what the human eye can see at the red end of the spectrum. In near-IR, the lightness of things is different; most vegetation looks pale (that's not snow on the mountain in the photo). Amusing to play with.
