On the high mountain plateau of Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park in northern Norway, lemmings are all over the place. They dash under a rock whenever you get near them, but if you stand quietly still, they will peek their heads out after twenty or thirty seconds to see if you're still there. Cute critters.
