The biggest town in the Lofoten Islands is Svolvaer, with a whole 4000 people or so. It has a "suburb" called Svinoya on an island in the harbor. This is a bit of Svinoya around sunset, taken from bridge to the island, with the mountains of the Norwegian mainland in the background (with just a single patch of sunlight still on them). That's fall foliage in the foreground (it was late September).
