From the small town of Reine (on the island of Moskenes), you can get a ferry that travels up the fjord to a few fjord-side villages like this one that are accessible only by boat. It's pretty much the most scenic ferry ride we've ever been on. If you're ever there, it's a must-do. In late September, we were the only non-crew people on the boat.
