Torres del Paine National Park is named for one set of very spiky mountains in the park ("Torres" = Towers). However, those are ones you can only see really well by hiking a long, difficult hiking trail (more on that later). The more well-known set of mountains in the park are these, called the "Cuernos" (Horns), which are just about as impressive. (In infrared, vegetation appears pale.)
