Torres del Paine National Park, in far southern Patagonia, has some of the most spectacular mountains in the world. There a many excellent hiking trails. We arrived there in the late afternoon, so we went looking for a short one that day, and found one called "Mirador Condor". Short, but straight up a mountainside, with roaring winds nearly knocking us over now & then (it's often very windy in Patagonia). It's often cloudy (and sometimes rainy) there, with mountain-generated clouds around the peaks, and that's what we had our first day there.
