It's a long, sometimes very steep and difficult hike from El Chalten to Laguna de Los Tres ("Lake of The Three"; I have no idea why), but it's well worth it. You're looking straight up the glacier at the peak of Fitz Roy, without intervening ridges and valleys. It's impossible to convey how stunning it is in a little photograph, but I'm trying. It's equally impossible to convey how BIG Fitz Roy looks from here. (And yes, the lake really is very, very blue.)
