Cerro Torre

The other famous peak of Los Glaciares National Park is Cerro Torre, or, in English, "Tower Peak" (most aptly named). It's often covered in clouds, however (generated by the wind on the mountains); this is the one time in five days there that we got a good view of it, though from a distance (near the town of El Chalten). It's considered one of the most difficult-to-climb peaks in the world. (We didn't try it.)
