Another monument from "Midas City" (Phrygian, about 700 BC; see earlier Midas City photo for more details). Though some in the past dubbed it "The Tomb of Midas", recent archaeologists believe it to be a temple to the goddess Cybele (there was likely a shrine to her in the niche at the base). Weird and cool.
