Some of the islands in Phang Nga Bay completely surround an interior lagoon (called a "hong" in Thai, which means "room"). The only way to get in is to take a sea kayak (as seen in this photo) through caves at certain tide levels. There's wildlife, too, including monkeys and kingfishers.
