The temple called Ta Prohm has been left in a semi-ruinous condition, like some of the other temples in the area, so that visitors can see what they looked like when explorers saw them years ago, before restoration efforts. There are even trees still growing out of the walls, as you can see here! Many of the other temples are being actively restored by archaeological groups from various other countries. Cambodia is still too poor to do it themselves without a great deal of international assistance - thank you to all those helping!
