The view is fine from Olmstead Point (visible in the middle of the picture, with cars) along Highway 120 through Yosemite's high country. If you go a ways down a trail from there and out on a nearby dome (which we dubbed "Improved Olmstead Point"), the view is even better, as seen in this picture. That's Tenaya Lake in the middle.
