The replica sailing ship "HMS Surprise" (formerly the HMS Rose), used in the movie "Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World" (based on the most excellent Napoleonic naval fiction of Patrick O'Brian). It's now permanently on display in the San Diego Maritime Museum. It was built from original construction drawings of the HMS Rose, built in 1757.
