The homepage feeds information from all modules of the site in a compact and easy-to-browse layout. Each section is color-coded to better distinguish information. Module headers also act as navigation to that section.
The spotlight section highlights talented students in the arts, giving each student their own customizable page. Content is added by site administrators.
The news and reviews blog allows all members of the site to post. The blog feeds headlines to the homepage and allows visitors to subscribe via RSS.
The blog posting module is tailored for ease of use and flexible formatting, and allows users to upload images to their directory on the server.
The arts and entertainment calendar is the most highly used module of the site as it presents all arts-related events at Stanford. Events may be viewed by day, week, month, or flat views, and also sorted by category or keyword search.
All members of the site are able to post and edit their approved events. Events are moderated by the site administrator.
The features section eables the site administrator to highlight programs and events. A ticket lottery form allows students to enter a monthly drawing.
The connections section is a marketplace that gives students and staff a bulletin board for posting arts-related ads targetting students, such as on and off campus job opportunities, casting calls, auditions, and open student group positions.
The connections posting module is simple and efficient. Contact information from a post is only available to users when they are logged in.
The resources section is organized by four categories to address the various users visiting the site. Users may rate or comment on each resource item.
The media gallery allows users to post video, audio, image and textual creations. Users may rate, comment or report content in the gallery. Content may be sorted by highest rated, most viewed, or by keyword.
Though each posting module is different, each posted item is tagged and added to the media gallery database. Video and audio are submitted via embed link to an existing item on YouTube, for example. Images and text are added directly to the server.
