Considered the effects of process variability on computer architectures. Investigated different architectural approaches to mitigate the effects of variability. Helped to develop a statistical timing analysis tool for analyzing the effects of process variability: Variasim.
02/2007: Boarding at the Speed of Flight Four day study during the Mathematical Competition in Modeling of different airplane boarding algorithms in an attempt to determine an optimal strategy. Simulated performance of algorithms under a variety of different circumstances and performed detailed mathematical analysis.
02/2006: Optimizing Airport Accessibility Four day study during the Mathematical Competition in Modeling of different mechanisms for handling handicapped passenger transportation within an airport. Considered different methods for transporting handicapped passengers in airports of different sizes.
