When I was studying classical languages, I liked the literary analysis of texts. In my bachelor's thesis, I analyzed the story of Iphigenia (one of my preferred myths) as told by Lucretius in his De Rerum Natura (I v. 81-101). I also analyzed some of Horace's odes as term paper for a class. And this work can still be found on the web of my Belgian Alma Mater ;-) :
