Apr 12-13 2008 - Valley
Another kickass spring valley weekend with the extended bay area crew. Anomalously warm, beautiful.
Saturday: royal arches area. Polly did a nice job on ant-infested Y crack, I let Poker Face (ran out of draws), I led some dirty-but-not-altogether-tedious .10a finger crack between royal arches and peruvian flake, Polly led peruvian flake, we finished the day on serenity crack with polly leading p2 nicely. Some of rest of the crew did Superslide; Wyatt and Stemmy romanced 10.96, and we got to see James belay ?? on a pretty impressive send of Hangdog Flyer.
Sunday: base of Washington Column. Polly cruised Jojo, Alex led first pitch of prow, gardened it, I led it, went down to find rest of crew on Nowhere Man - weave/alex led it, rest of us TR'ed. Got a couple pics of Alex styling it:
