June 9th-10th 2007 - Lovers Leap w/ Wyatt et al
Took Wyatt up on his offer of a guided hardman cragging tour of Lovers, including but not limited to a stop at the much vaunted Dear John Buttress.
Saturday: I was directed to Magnum Force, Mainline, and Tombstone Terror to get things started. Fell on Mainline. Then Wyatt led Boot Hill, and then we walked up and he had a go at Freak Show, almost getting it. Finished the day by both getting spanked on Yankee Boy.
Sunday: met Tony and pooch in the parking lot. He started us off on Surrealistic Direct. Then rolled up to Dear John, where Wyatt made Stony God look like 5.7. Then I led the first half of Fight the Power, then Wyatt had a go at the whole thing, taking some nice air. That thing is way way hard. Pics:
