Jan 27-28 2007 - Valley
We did our part to contribute to low snowpack/climate change by driving to the Valley - (lack of snow an often underappreciated positive climate feedback, since the drive to Yosemite is in fact a little further than that to Kirkwood).
Saturday: Polly had never been to Reed's, so we did Stone Groove and Lunatic Fringe. Then drove down the hill and did some laps on Tips (courtesy the resident fixed line) - a less steep, slightly less secure version of Butterballs. The bottom 10' look heinous. Perfect temps, not a soul around.
Sunday: Raining. Wyatt drove in from the Gold Wall to have breakfast with us, then drove back. We ran the valley loop, which was icy and long and beautiful.
