May 13th-14th 2006 - Valley with the soon to be Dr. Fordyce.

Polly managed to escape lab for the weekend, and this was to be her first outside climbing since Indian Creek over a month ago. We started at Pat and Jack, where Polly dispatched Nurdle and then had a go a Sherrie's Crack, nearly getting it on her first try leading it. Now she has a proj. Unbeknownst to us, Dan and Ashley were somewhere above us, continuing their apparently unrequited search for the Valley's most obscure obscurity - this time dirt spelunking on Jack Pinnacle (the crag's apparent namesake).

We then drove the 30 seconds down to the Cookie and had a go at the full Nabisco Wall (Waverly + Butterballs + Butterfingers). Waverly went alright, took two falls on Butterballs, and grabbed a piece on Butterfingers when I thought I was going to fall on Polly's head. Now I have a proj I guess.

Polly woke up Sunday morning with a fever and a bad cough, so we bailed early...
