In addition to AMIDE, I utilize/occasional contribute to/package/have written a variety of software packages for medical imaging.
  • (X)MedCon - an image conversion program with support for converting between a large number of different file formats: Acr/Nema 2.0, Analyze (SPM), Concorde/microPET, DICOM 3.0, CTI ECAT 6/7, NIfTI-1, InterFile3.3, PNG, and Gif87a/89a. The Concorde support is largely maintained by me.
  • DCMTK - currently the standard free library for DICOM reading/writing. I've put together an RPM package for Fedora Linux.
  • niftilib - a library supporting the nifti1 format. The nifti format is an attempt to make a medical imaging file format more appropriate for research use than previous formats. I've put together an RPM package of the C library for Fedora Linux.
  • VolPack - a software library for volume rendering. I've become the de facto maintainer of this library.
  • recon_3dem - A 3D (OS)EM iterative reconstruction program I wrote as a class project for the microPET P4/R4 scanners.
  • resort_beds - A small utility for merging multi-bed images into a single bed. Should support most file formats that (X)MedCon supports.
  • Fink Packages - I mantain packages to allow Mac OS X to install AMIDE and XMedCon using the Fink package system. Installation instructions are available here.
