An aerial view of Westinghouse's former Sharon transformer plant, which stretched nearly a mile between Sharpsville Avenue and the Shenango River. The plant closed in the mid-'80s. Some of it has been demolished, some of it is vacant, and other sections are used today by Sawhill to make pipe and by Winner Steel Services to process steel. (Text and images from the Sharon Herald).
