ONLINE RESOURCES

1. JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Public Service Law Network (PSLawNet.org) is the website for law students and lawyers interested in doing international public interest work.

Human Rights Internet’s Organizations Database (http://www.hri.ca/databank) is a fairly comprehensive resource. The authors assert that it currently holds over 10,000 records. It can be searched by name, type, issues addressed, countries the organization works in and other criteria.

The Human Rights Resource Center (www.hrusa.org) works in partnership with the University of Minnesota Human Rights Library to create and distribute human rights resources. The website contains substantive human rights information and links to other human rights groups and resources.

For humanitarian work, please see ReliefWeb Directory (http://www.reliefweb.int/rw/rwc.nsf/doc202?OpenForm). For a comprehensive list of human rights job opportunities in inter-governmental organizations, please see http://intjobs.org. Idealist, http://www.idealist.org/en/about/index.html and Human Rights Jobs, http://www.humanrightsjobs.com are also useful resources.
