I am wrapping up my work as a postdoctoral fellow in the Biochemistry department at Stanford University, supported by a fellowship from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. I've been working in Pat Brown's research group, using bioinformatics and experimental methods to learn exciting things about post-transcriptional gene regulation.

I've moved down the coast to UC Santa Cruz to work on an exciting genome evolution project with Ed Green, the guy who brought you the Neanderthal genome sequence, in the Paleogenomics Lab.

I did my PhD in the Molecular & Cell Biology department at UC Berkeley with Steven Brenner.
