i don't understand. You can view the swf files with the latest version of the Adobe flash . Anyway if you want to modify a Fla you got to have that software instaled. So what is the point of the SWF live preview?

Filmari,
Sure, you can view the swf files in your web browser or Flash itself, but what if you are a designer who has lots of swf versions in one explorer folder? How can you tell what is what by the thumbnail? Well unless you have SWF Live Preview then they'll all have the same flash icon.
Check out this for a preview of the preview: http://theflashblog.com/preview.jpg

Ok. You are right. Even if usualy not too many times we are working with SWF files that we don't have the .fla files as well. Otherwise we are not going to be able to modify them.
Anyway... do you have any ideea about where can i get a nef preview for my shouts. I've got a Nikon D80 and i am not able to see the nef's thumbmail.
Thankyou

I don't find myself really needing a thumbnail for SWFs but for PSDs I do. For previewing PSD (photoshop files) try:

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/P/psicon.dll/download.html
Note! will only work with Adobe CS2 .psd files

For previewing RAW images in windows you might try:

Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=D48E808E-B10D-4CE4-A141-5866FD4A3286&displaylang=en

I haven't tried it but it seems like it should work since it's published by Microsoft.
