I am currently Chairman of the Department of Philosophy at
Stanford University
My work lies at the intersection of the philosophy of
language and the philosophy of mind, with an occasional foray into the history
of philosophy.
My new book, Reference and the Rational Mind is now out.
Along with my colleague, John Perry,
I have developed and co-host a radio program called
Philosophy Talk: The Program that Questions
Everything -- Except your Intelligence
Philosophy Talk is now officially A GO!!
The program airs KALW
91.7 FM, San Francisco
airs from12:00pm – 1:00pm.
We will also be on some stations of Oregon Public Broadcasting.
By the end of the 2004, we hope to be on Nationwide.
Starting in January, we hope also to be airing on other public radio stations
around the country. You can help us reach that goal by spreading the word about
Philosophy Talk.
