I am working with IBM Almaden, San Jose, USA.
Previously, I worked as a postdoc researcher at the Computer Science Department of Stanford University, as a member of Stanford's Infolab.
I have a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Athens’ Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in Greece. My PhD thesis was on personalization and user preference modeling in databases.
My interests lie in the intersection of web, databases, and information retrieval, and include: entity resolution, social sites, recommender systems, keyword search, preference-aware query processing and social spam.
