K. KRISHNAN NAIR

Welcome to my webpage! I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at Stanford University. I work with Professor Matthew Harding. My present research work deals with applications of random matrix theory in financial econometrics (in particular high dimensional factor models).

I got my PhD majoring in Structural Engineering & Geomechanics at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering , Stanford University. My current research interests are probabilistic methods with applications in engineering and finance.

I worked at the John A. Blume Earthquake Engineering Center and my PhD advisor was Professor Anne S. Kiremidjian. My dissertation was on the development of damage diagnosis algorithms for wireless structural health monitoring.
