Arda is a co-term student in HCI, and done his undergrad in AI also at Stanford. He is very passionate about finding out ways to make products be cool for the users and not just the makers. He sees a master's in HCI as the MBA of computer scientists. He is from Turkey but is fascinated with the entrepreneurial aura of Silicon Valley.
Kenny is a senior and co-term student in Electrical Engineering, but is very passionate about bridging the gap between technology and users. His masters is basically a combination of HCI and AI. He looks forward to having a great quarter with Cs247!
French, Robi is a serial entrepreneur with an eye (usually two) for design. Last year, he co-founded and designed the interface for the French startup Pionid and he now devotes his extra-curricular time to Ingresse, a Brazilian ticketing startup. Passionate about music and arts, he is the artist of the group and intends to make good use of his creativity: Robi was the leader and singer of the Jack's Brothers, the flagship rock band from the École Polytechnique where he also co-founded the University Radio before receiving his engineering degree. As a true globe-trotter, Robi is now finishing his studies at Stanford University in a Master of Computer Science (HCI).
Charlton studied Science, Technology, and Society ('11) and is now is a co-term student in Computer Science ('12) with a focus in HCI at Stanford. He hails from down south in Santa Monica but is fascinated with the amount of fresh air up here in Silicon Valley and doesn't plan to leave anytime soon. He enjoys developing products based on real user need but is a sucker for themed parties, pop artists (e.g. Rebecca Black), and #hashtags.
Blake studied Comuter Science ('11) and is now a co-term student in Computer Science ('12) with a focus in HCI at Stanford. He comes all the way from Bean Town (Boston), Massachusetts and is loving the great weather and exciting atmosphere of Silicon Valley.
