Birding Documents for Palm PDA

I have edited the following documents so that they will fit on the screen of a Palm PDA.

American Birding Association (ABA) List of North American Birds
ABA Bird List

After displaying each of these lists on your browser, select "Save As" under "File", and select "Text". Now open up these files in your word processor, and delete the material above the dashed line at the top, and the dashed line too. Do the same at the bottom of the file. Save this file as "Text Only" (this is equivalent to ASCII).

Now you need a copy of MakeDocW (for Windows) or MakeDocDD (for Mac) to convert the text file to a DOC file in the PalmIII format (*.prc), and a document reader for your PalmIII such as TealDoc, AportisDoc, J-Doc, QED, or QEX.

These files can be downoaded from a number of shareware sites for the PalmIII. For example:
